Mr Anderson Moves Into Garth Manor

So, Mr. Anderson has claimed squatters rights in Garth Manor. Why are cats so fascinated with dollhouses? Maybe the same reason we mini-folk are fascinated by them?

I am ready to focus on other details now.

  1. Hi thankyou for sharing this build with us, I will be excited to see the progress. I have added it as a RSS feed so I don't miss any of it, can you please also help me, I have a large doll house and have been trying to figure out how to make realistic bricks and stone work for it, I noticed you use clay and I love the idea and how it looks, I was wondering though how you attached it to the house....
    kind regards
    Dawn...... :)

    2. Have you ever worked with egg cartons for bricks or stone work? It is an awesome medium and, if colored with care, looks uber realistic and it is cheap and if you run out you just buy more eggs, make deviled eggs, bring them to my house for me to eat, and walla! You have more carton for bricks and stone!

  2. Hi no I didn't get the email, could you send it again, dawn@adawnstyle.com if you will, and I did dabble with egg cartons for stone work which looks great on the bottom level of my house..... so was thinking a different medium would look good for the last 3 levels... I have an idea with the clay and would like to try that if I could, I think yours looks great but don't know how to attach it to the timber of the house..
    Cheers Dawn :)

  3. Your building is so nice. I am assuming it is an original from scratch?
I love it and will be following your progress.

    1. It is actually the shell of the Beacon Hill by Greenleaf. A great kit. I am just bashing the heck out of it to make it a one of a kind. Thanks for the compliment!
